Thanks for your interest in RAISON Home! We think you're going to love this opportunity to have your own business helping your customers design the rooms of their dreams for the budget they have whether modest or massive! With our amazing software, huge range of suppliers and incredible training, you'll get to take on all sorts of interesting and fun projects.
Our franchisees are discovering that the UK market is brimming with potential and that social media is the perfect tool to show off your work and generate enquiries. This is the perfect time to combine your passion for home interiors with your dream of having the perfect work life balance!
By combining your passion for all things interior design, and a flair for delivering incredible customer service, with our 20+ years industry experience, proven business model and perfected training and support, you can create a unique business with enormous potential.
Starting your own business can be quite daunting, but the British Franchise Association (of which we are an accredited member) has released research showing that 93% of franchise businesses are still going strong and profitable after 5 years, and less than 1% close due to financial failure. Franchising is the difference between launching a business based on an untested idea and keeping your fingers crossed it makes money, verses launching a business based on a proven model surrounded by a support team whose job it is to give you all the training and ongoing help you need to succeed!
The RAISON Home franchise gives you everything you need for success. We train you on every element of setting up and running your business, set you up with great supplier relationships with very favourable discounts, and we're there to support you every step of the way as you grow!
How do we know that our business model works? We've been doing this for over 20 years and have over 120 successful franchisees in France and Belgium. Our 5 franchisees in the UK are now out there wowing clients with the unique Raison Home service and LOVING being their own boss.
The average trend of new franchisees turnover is:
Year one: between £168,000 and £210,000
Year two: between £257,000 and £294,000
Year three: between £378,000 and £420,000
And with a 30% margin on sales, there is the opportunity to make some serious returns.

Most people working in KBB would love to have their own business, but let’s face it, the main options you probably know about are hugely expensive i.e., setting up your own showroom and negotiating with suppliers, or buying one of the showroom-based kitchen franchises. Both will take an investment of well into 6 figures, and that’s not easy to come by.
Raison Home do things differently. Over the last 20 years we’ve proven beyond doubt that you don’t need a showroom to sell kitchens – or bathrooms or bedrooms for that matter. We sit down with our clients in their own home, in the room that they want to change, get to know them and how they want to live in it. Then together, we design the perfect room for their budget. It’s genuinely as fun as it sounds!

So, what would make you shy away from exploring this opportunity further?
Maybe it’s the thought of leaving a job with a salary and starting your own business - which is a big leap for anyone. But franchising gives you a proven business model, and loads of training and ongoing support, so the risk of it not working out are far less than starting a new business on your own.
Possibly, it’s also the fear of not making enough money from it – particularly starting out.
Sarah – our Edinburgh franchise owner who started her training with us at the very end of 2021, made over £220,000 of sales in 2022. Our franchise owners generally enjoy a 30% profit margin – so that’s a pretty impressive first year in business! Worth noting too that Sarah came from a banking career and had never had her own business before or worked in KBB or interiors.

"The first year has been a roller-coaster – with many more highs than lows! Being self-employed has taken some adjustment after such a long career in a corporate setting. However, I love the flexibility and freedom that owning my own business has brought me. While there’s the occasional stressful day, it genuinely doesn’t feel like work most of the time! "
Sarah Maguire, Raison Home Franchise Owner
It could be that you wonder if people really want to buy a kitchen this way.
Many people know what home they want but don't know how to achieve it, this is where Raison Home comes in. You can help customers transform their Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms into something truly special.
- We've been going for over 30 years across France and are now in seven countries including Belgium and the UK
- We have over 120 franchise owners
- Almost 70% of their customers come through referrals
- Our turnover in 2021 alone was £32 million
- The Raison Home concept has grown 25% every year since we started
- Our franchise owners sell 4,500 kitchens each year combined
- After only the first 3 months of this year, our UK turnover was the same as the first 6 months of 2022. People in the UK are loving our service!
You’re probably wondering how many kitchens you need to sell to make good money?
Everyone’s idea of good money is different, but let’s look at answering this from the point of view of how things might look in the early stages.
Let’s take an average kitchen sale price of £15k. Then let’s assume that over your first 12 months of business you’d like to follow in Sarah’s footsteps – let’s call it £195,000 in sale - that would take about kitchen 13 sales.
Now, we know that our franchise owner’s average conversion rate between quotes and sales is about 40%, which means that you need to do 33 quotes. From there, we know that the average conversion rate of leads becoming quotes is about 49%, so you would need about 66 leads over the course of the year – that’s less than 6 leads a month and you could be looking at a salary equivalent of around £60k. Some of our more established franchisees are now running businesses with million pound plus turnovers, so there’s no limit to what you can achieve.
Obviously, there is no way for us to guarantee your performance – these are based on averages from other franchise owners.
